As an institution or company should be submissive and obedient to the rules imposed disuatu area, including the State. According to a report obtained ICW, Freeport arrears to the Government of Indonesia reached 176.884 million USD or equivalent to Rp. 1.591 trillion during the period 2002-2010, from which the new royalties realized PT Freeport from 2002 to 2010 only about 873.2 million USD. Though based on the calculation of ICW should total royalty obligation of PT Freeport from 2002-2010 was 1050.084 billion U.S. dollars.
This kind of incident should not be allowed to drag on, at least the government must take firm action, the government should dare to negotiate with the parties to immediately pay off the deficiency freepot albeit with a few stages to reduce the burden freepot own.
